Fun News!
Latest Update:
It's been a minute! (8/3/23):
Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last update. I started a new job in January with Hybrid Enterprises, but that doesn't mean I've stopped development on my projects! I have two games actively in the works with a development partner, and my updates for Thunder Jumper are still moving forward. I'm hoping to see all three projects wrapped up by the end of the year, so fingers crossed for that!
Previous Updates:
What am I up to? (11/27/22):
Square Up took a downward turn and is no longer in operation. While that truly sucks, I will be putting 100% of my effort back into my personal dev projects while I look for new work. With that being said, I'm back at my desk working with Thunder Jumper! I'm updating the art, adding levels, and trying to give it mobile controls. Watch out for that on the app store and google play store in 2023! Embers of Olympus is still in the works, but I'll be taking a break from that while I get Thunder Jumper out the door. TJ has always been my proudest work, so I want to give it the biggest send-off I can!
NEW JOB!! (8/15/22):
As of August 22nd, which doubles as my birthday, I will be starting a new position at Square Up Games LLC. I'm going to be the lead sound designer working on some secret things I can't say. I'm so excited to get started and can't wait to show off the games we make!
Current Projects (8/15/22):
Right now I am working on a game called Embers of Olympus. It's a fun tower defense game where enemies can come at you from all sides. I've been working on this game on and off for a couple of years now, and it's definitely been a huge learning experience. This is the first game that I have done all programming, art, and design by myself. I am no programmer, so this is a big deal for me! If you're interested in learning more head on over to the Embers of Olympus section of the Games tab. You can also message me if you want to check out the demo, as I haven't publicly released that anywhere. The game is nowhere near finalized (and I may be switching everything to a more 3D/isometric style if I'm feeling bold), so please be gentle.
